During our exhibitions we welcome visits from local schools looking to explore visual arts in an exhibition environment. With outdoor installations, inside galleries and an audio visual room there is plenty to see. We can provide age appropriate targeted activities if required and are happy to coordinate with you to ensure your group get the maximum benefit from their visit.

We dont charge for your visit but ask that we might get a mention in your school newsletter if you do come along to visit.

If you would like more information about visiting our exhibition then please contact our educational advisor Hilary at info@artatone.com

The children had the most wonderful experience at the Art@One Exhibition. It is a beautiful space and the children enjoyed exploring it. The morning was carefully planned with targeted activities which allowed children to navigate through the exhibition. They loved being in the space and were calm and reflective when discussing and responding to the various pieces. It was a joyous experience for all and we would love to come again for the next exhibition

Creative Collaborations…….

We are always happy to talk to schools re-creative collaborations, for our November 2024 exhibition ‘Perspective’ we collaborated with one local school and asked the children what they thought lived under the River Ouse. We were thrilled with the pictures they sent us, their imaginations resulted in some wonderful creatures, imagined and real. We were so impressed we made up the winning nine to display at the exhibition all the childrens artwork was also displayed in its own gallery for the duration of the event. The children were really excited to see their life size replicas of the drawings and got to keep them as their prize. The child’s perspective was part of our outdoor installation which complimented the adult’s river perspective.
